Krups XP2010

The Krups XP2010 is a combination coffee maker and expresso make from Krups. Basically consists of two halves, at 10 cup coffee maker and a 15 bar pump espresso maker. This is great for the household where everyone is not an espresso drinker.

The espresso maker will work with regular grounds or you can use ESE pods. The coffee maker side couldn’t be easier: simply add a filter, add your coffee press the button, you can have 10 cups of coffee in less than 10 min.

Considering that most espresso machines cost over $500 the Krups XP2010, is an excellent bargain especially considering it also makes coffee.

This unit is getting extremely mixed reviews from customers. While some customers have been very disappointed with it others who love this machine think that the customers who were not so fond of it simply have not taken the time to properly read the instruction manual. It would seem that there is a learning curve as far as understanding how the controls work.

It’s also evident from customer reviews that failure to use this unit properly such as running the pump without water will cause premature failure. If you choose to buy the Krups XP2010 please take the time to read the instruction manual.

Should you buy this product? As I stated earlier the reviews on this one are extremely mixed. Customers who love this machine, absolutely love it. They say that it makes an excellent cup of coffee or espresso and that they have not encountered any of the issues that the negative reviewers have talked about.

On the other hand those who dislike the Krups XP 2010 seem to have issues with the espresso portion than the coffee maker. Some claim that it leaks while others claim that the steam wand comes off.
